Alice Cooper talks ke$ha

It seems like everyone wants to play with you. I read you were just on stage in Europe with Ke$ha.

We met Ke$ha, who I think is going to be more of a rock singer than a diva. She's got rock singer mentality rather than 'I wanna be Beyonce ... or Lady Gaga.' Lady Gaga is in a world of her own. She's created her own universe, which is great. I totally applaud what she's doing. I'm not that much into her music but I can listen to it and go, "That's really good." Ke$ha should have her own rock band behind her. I mean, a real rock band. And she would be a killer lead singer. And I pushed her in that direction. When we wrote this song, "What Baby Wants," she actually plays the devil on the album. She's a perfect devil. I met her at the Grammys, and I just thought there was something about her that was very rock-star-ish, so I wanted her to be on the album. And she writes her own songs, too. So we sat her down and we ended up writing this song, and the funny thing is, the most disturbing lyrics were hers.
